Youth Empowerment Through Art Programs
Social Justice: Through Art This program uses various art forms, such as visual arts, theater, and music, to explore and raise awareness about social justice issues like inequality, discrimination, and human rights. Participants create artwork, perform plays, or compose songs that shed light on these issues and spark discussions about creating a more equitable society.
Cultural Exploration: Through Art This program introduces children and youth to different cultures and traditions through various art forms, such as dance, music, visual arts, and storytelling. Participants learn about diverse cultural perspectives, explore themes of diversity and inclusion, and create artwork that celebrates cultural richness and promotes understanding and acceptance.
Therapeutic Art Sessions: These sessions leverage the therapeutic benefits of art to help children and youth process and express emotions, build resilience, and develop coping mechanisms for mental health challenges. Trained art therapists guide participants through various art-making activities, providing a safe and supportive environment for self-expression and healing.
Complex Social Issues Cohorts
Imprint Program: 16 week initiative that aids at risk youth to avoid gang involvement and recidivism through graphic design and printing. Participants learn technical skills such as color theory, typography, composition, and branding, while also developing essential life skills like communication, teamwork, problem solving, and goal setting. By creating branded products and engaging in personal development workshops, the initiative aims to instill a sense of purpose, self worth, and accomplishment.
ArtPreneur Academy: A 12 week program, for aspiring young entrepreneurs to build thriving businesses based on cultural arts from around the world. Our program combines business fundamentals with cultural immersion, enabling participants to transform their passion for arts into sustainable and impactful ventures. This program prepares graduates to navigate through the global creative economy while fostering cross-cultural understanding and appreciation.
